Terms and Conditions for Cryogenic Chamber Therapy:

DO NOT ENTER THE CHAMBER IF YOU

SUFFER FROM THE FOLLOWING :-

• CLAUSTROPHOBIA;

• HYPERTENSION

• RAYNAUD’S SYNDROME;

• HYPOTHYROIDISM;

• IMPAIRED BLOOD CIRCULATION;

• EFFECTS OF CERTAIN DRUGS

(PARTICULARLY NEUROLEPTICS, AND

ALCOHOL];

• A NARROWING OF VALVES: CRESCENT-

SHAPED AORTA AND MITRAL VALVE;

• CHRONIC DISEASE OF THE RESPIRATION

SYSTEM;

• ACTIVE CANCER TREATMENT

 

DURING THE TREATMENT, PLEASE DO THE FOLLOWING :-

• TAKE SHORT, SHALLOW BREATHS;

• WALK IN CIRCULAR DIRECTION AROUND

CHAMBER, TAKING SMALL STEPS;

• DO NOT TOUCH THE WALLS;

• DO NOT RUB YOUR SKIN;

• AVOID TALKING. DURING TREATMENT

AFTER THE TREATMENT, PLEASE DO THE

FOLLOWING :-

• REMOVE MASK & GLOVES;

• ROLL SOCKS DOWN TO ANKLES;

• DO NOT RUB YOUR SKIN;

• TRY TO PERFORM LIGHT CARDIO EXERCISE

POST-TREATMENT

 

Contraindications

If a person has any contraindications as below, ensure they seek medical advice and written approval from their doctor prior to starting any treatments.

• Untreated or poorly controlled Hypertension (i.e. high blood pressure)

• Heart attack within the past 12 months

• Stroke or mini stroke within the past 12 months

• Decompensating diseases (edema) of the cardiovascular and respiratory system

• Congestive heart failure, COPD and/or chronic liver disease

• Unstable Angina Pectoris

• Cardiac pacemaker

• Arrhythmia

• Peripheral Arterial Occlusive Disease

• Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) or a known circulatory dysfunction

• Acute febrile respiratory disease (i.e. flu-like respiratory conditions)

• Kidney and/or urinary tract diseases

• Incontinence (i.e. involuntary bowel movements)

 

Active Cancer processes or tumours

• Severe Anemia

• Cold Allergenic Phenomenon (i.e. allergy to cold contactants)

• Heavy consumerist diseases (i.e. abnormal bleeding disorders)

• Seizure disorders

• Bacterial and/or viral infections of the skin and wound healing disorders (i.e. open sores or

discharging wound/skin conditions)

• Valvular and/or Ischemic heart disease

• Raynaud’s disease (i.e. discoloration of fingers, toes, or other areas)

• Polyneuropathies

• Pregnancy or potential pregnancy

• Lactation

• Vasculitis

• Cold activated Asthma

• Severe dementia

• Hyperhidrosis (i.e. heavy perspiration)

• Recent trauma

• Symptomatic lung disorder

• Active tuberculosis

1. By using the services of our facility, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions.

2. All clients are required to wear protective gear provided by the facility at all times while inside the chamber. Failure to do so may result in denial of service and/or termination of membership.

3. Clients are also required to observe all cautionary signage posted throughout the building. This includes, but is not limited to, signs indicating the proper use of the chamber, safety instructions, and emergency procedures.

4. The facility is not responsible for any injuries or accidents that occur as a result of a client's failure to follow the terms and conditions outlined here, or failure to follow the instructions provided by facility staff.

5. The facility reserves the right to deny service to any client who does not comply with these terms and conditions.

6. The facility also reserves the right to terminate the membership of any client who violates these terms and conditions on more than one occasion.

7. If you have any medical conditions or are taking any medications that may be affected by cryogenic chamber therapy, it is your responsibility to inform the facility staff prior to using the chamber.

8. Cryogenic chamber therapy is not recommended for individuals who are pregnant, have heart conditions, high blood pressure, or have any other medical conditions that may be affected by extreme cold temperatures.

9. The facility reserves the right to make changes to these terms and conditions at any time without notice.

10. By using the services of our facility, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, and any future revisions.

12. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times while using the Whole-Body Cryotherapy chamber
